Dès son premier jour en tant qu’officier de police, Amenadiel doit travailler avec un inspecteur raciste qu’il a déjà rencontré.
Lucifer tente de se rapprocher de Rory mais celle ci n’est pas décidée à lui rendre la tâche facile.
- Lucifer mentionne encore une fois Bones, sa série préférée. Dans cet épisode apparait Patricia Belcher (Loretta) qui interprète Caroline Julian dans plusieurs saisons de la série Bones.
- Lucifer dit à Rory que sa voiture est une Corvette Stingray de 1962. La Stingray n’a pas été produite avant 1963.
- Lorsque Rory ramène Dan sur Terre, elle lui dit qu’elle lui proposerai bien de s’assoir mais qu’au vu de son immatérialité cela lui est impossible, or dans le début de l’épisode, Dan est assis à l’arrière de la voiture de police d’Amenadiel et Sonya.
Amenadiel: « – Hey, Ella.
Ella: (chuckling) – Oh, Amenadiel! Hi! I didn’t hear you come in there. You are a stealthy one. It’s like you just flew in or something.
Amenadiel: – I need to talk to you. In confidence.
Ella: – Oh, absolutely, buddy. Okay, you can tell me anything no matter how out of this world it might seem. Give me the real – real.
Amenadiel: – Okay, thank you. Well, I was assisting at a murder scene today —
Ella: – Mm-hmm, right, ’cause you’re just a regular old, run-of-the-mill uni, right?
Amenadiel: – Well, I am a sworn officer of the law. So, yeah. Anyway, I’m at the scene, and I just keep having this strange feeling that something isn’t right.
Ella: – Oh, I knew it! It’s — it’s like a — a divine jankiness, right?
Amenadiel: – No, no, no, it’s more like a feeling that someone else was in the apartment.
Ella: – Oh! You mean like a holy spirit?
Amenadiel: – No. Like a roomate. Or maybe even the vic’s girlfriend. You see, the was a second toothbrush and a bathroom window was left wide open. So I’m wondering if maybe you could check it out?
Ella: – So, uh, is this coming from a « higher power » ?
Amenadiel: – Definitely not. Just your old pal Amenadiel, asking you for a little favor, cop to cop.
Ella: – Oh. So, just from one human cop to another?
Amenadiel: Yeah. Also, if you could keep this between us, that could be great.
Ella: – Uh, yeah, sure. Of course. My lips are zipped…Uh, on this matter or anything else you would ever wanna talk about. You know? I don’t know. Work, family…spirituality… I am here for you, pal. »
